Introducing the
National Vegetable Society
Devon District Association
The NVS Devon District Association, was formed on the 24th February 2007 at Bovey Tracey.
It aims to provide contact with like minded people who are passionate about growing vegetables from throughout Devon, as well as from across the Tamar in Cornwall, parts of Somerset and for anyone visiting our county.
We intend to provide a varied social calendar, with events such as
- Talks and lectures.
- Slideshows and DVD screenings.
- 'Veg of the Meet' competitions.
- Annual mini-show.
- Plant Sales and swaps.
- Outings to historic kitchen and vegetable gardens.
- Visits to members gardens and allotments.
- Trips to garden shows.
- Fruit and vegetable tasting sessions.
- Events based on your suggestions.
Why not come along to one of our meetings or events and find out more about the National Vegetable Society. New and prospective members are always welcome.
